For Fresh Graduates:

With a university degree in hand, fresh graduates can kickstart their careers in the CAMO Progression, starting as a Short Term Planner and working their way up to MOC Manager.

Short Term Planner:

  • Plans and schedules maintenance workorders, both scheduled and unscheduled.
  • Works with advanced digital systems for maintenance planning.
  • Coordinates with maintenance organizations and material supply to ensure effective planning.

Maintenance Operations Center Technical Support Engineer:

  • Analyzes fleet defects, identifies fault patterns, and proposes solutions using advanced software.
  • Uses predictive maintenance tools to issue workorders and prevent aircraft defects.

Maintenance Operations Center Engineer:

  • Provides technical expertise and support to flight crews in case of technical problems.
  • Monitors fleet health using advanced software to ensure airworthiness.
  • Manages and organizes aircraft AOG (Aircraft on Ground) recovery.
  • Collaborates with aircraft manufacturers, P21 engineering, and material teams for troubleshooting.

Maintenance Operations Center Manager:

  • Leads a team of MOC engineers to ensure safe and timely maintenance activities.
  • Monitors technical KPIs and proposes corrective actions.
  • Develops and implements effective shift plans.

Your future career

For Mechanics:

For mechanics, the PART 145 Progression offers two paths. Those with a high school diploma start as mechanics and can advance to MOC Engineer, while those with a university degree can progress to MOC Manager position in 10 years.

Mechanic:

  • Supports a team of technical engineers by performing maintenance tasks under supervision.
  • Travels on an ad-hoc basis to support aircraft recovery from AOG.

Cat "A" Engineer:

  • Performs technical inspections, defect rectification, and testing.
  • Travels on an ad-hoc basis to support aircraft recovery from AOG.

Cat "B" Engineer:

  • Independently performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft.
  • Leads a team of mechanics and Cat A engineers.
  • Ensures aircraft are released to service after maintenance is completed and manages AOG recovery.
  • Travels on an ad-hoc basis to support aircraft recovery from AOG.

Maintenance Operations Center Engineer:

  • Provides technical expertise and support to flight crews in case of technical problems.
  • Manages and organizes aircraft AOG (Aircraft on Ground) recovery.

All the details:

As a fresh graduate begin your journey as a Short Term Planner (STP), where you'll gain valuable experience in planning and coordinating maintenance tasks. After three years, advance to Maintenance Operations Center Technical Support Engineer (MOC TSE), where you'll analyze fleet defects, identify patterns, and propose solutions.

With continued success, you'll progress to Maintenance Operations Center Engineer (MOC ENG) in five years, where you'll provide technical expertise, monitor fleet health, and manage AOG (aircraft on ground) recoveries. Finally, after seven years, you can become an MOC Manager, leading a team of engineers and ensuring safe and efficient maintenance operations. As a Mechanic you can start your career at WIZZ, assisting experienced engineers with maintenance tasks. In two years, you can become a Cat ‘A’ Engineer, responsible for technical inspections and defect rectification. After five years, progress to Cat ‘B’ Engineer, where you'll independently perform maintenance tasks and lead a team of mechanics and Cat A engineers.

With seven years of experience, you can become an MOC Engineer and in case of holding a University degree you can continue your career path towards MOC Manager in ten years.
