PLACE IN THE ORGANIZATION

Emergency Response and Business Continuity Manager reports to Senior Manager Group Security and Resilience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Emergency Response and Business Continuity Manager is an employee of Group Security and Resilience responsible for responsible for development and implementation of the Group Emergency Response Plan and corporate Business Continuity Plan.

Emergency Response and Business Continuity Manager is responsible for:

  • Development, implementation and regular revision of Wizz Air Group Emergency Response Plan (ERP);
  • Development, implementation and regular revision of Wizz Air Corporate Business Continuity Plan;
  • Support in development and oversight of Wizz Air AOCs ERP;
  • Development and maintaining of internal policies and procedures related to the emergency response;
  • Coordination of Wizz Air ERP with internal (Wizz Air departments) and external (airports, vendors and providers) stakeholders;
  • Participation, hosting and follow up of external audits of Wizz Air ERP;
  • Arrangement and follow up full-scale and small-scale emergency and business continuity exercises and drills;
  • Cooperate with network airports in regards of emergency exercises and drills;
  • Arrangement of crisis management rooms in Budapest, Luton, Geneva, Abu Dhabi and other locations if required in operating condition and with proper supplies;
  • Arrangement availability and operating condition of crisis management equipment, Go Team kits;
  • Arrangement, participation in, and conducting trainings, exercises and drills related to emergency response and business continuity;
  • Ensuring the set up, modification, up-to-date operation and access rights of crisis team members to crisis event management software;
  • Maintaining a list of personnel involved in crisis management up-to-date;
  • Participate in risk and threat analysis, emergency and contingency procedures.

MEETINGS

  • Quarterly CMC briefing, organizer;
  • Group Safety, Security and Compliance meeting, attendee;
  • Security council, attendee;
  • Information security action group (ISAG), optional attendee;
  • Airline Safety Action Group (SAG), optional attendee;
  • SAG and SRB of Wizz Air Group airlines; optional attendee.

AUTHORITIES OF THE FUNCTION

  • N/A

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Previous work experience in aviation safety;
  • Previous work experience in emergency response;
  • Experience in business continuity is a plus;
  • Certification in emergency response (IATA, ICAO) is a plus;
  • Certification/training in Implementing ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management) is a plus;
  • Experience in air carrier operations is a plus;
  • Experience in management of complex projects;
  • PC user skills at advanced level (MS Office, Power BI);
  • Excellent presentation skills;
  • Analytical skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • College / university degree;
  • Knowledge of Hungarian language is a plus/

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • Trainings in Emergency Response, Business Continuity (ISO 22301) are plus to candidate.
