Purpose of the position:


  • Operations digital project manager is responsible for leading the Group Operations digital project and product development initiatives from design to implementation. Digital transformation and innovation are key to scalability and to achieve operations excellence of a Group of Wizz Airlines of 500+ aircraft. 




  • Lead digital development projects of Group Operations to drive transformation and innovation among Wizz Air’s Operations functions.
  • Ensure clear internal and external communication towards the project stakeholders
  • Establish project structure and reporting relationships, ensure everybody understands project goals and his/her role and responsibilities, encourage good working relationships among all project team members
  • Maintain project documentation, ensure that mandatory documents are created and updated during the project life cycle
  • Perform risk management to discover and address potential problems before they occur
  • Track the project progress against project plan, hold regular status meetings and report the project status. Perform scope control and change management.
  • Ensure that project is completed within constrains of time, budget and quality




  • Solid project management knowledge, 3-5 years related work experience required
  • Experience in digital project management or product development
  • Business and product development mindset
  • Strong sense of business ownership and accountability
  • Drive to learn and improve professionally
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Completed College or University degree
  • Airline experience is an advantage
