Safety and Compliance Support Manager 

Based in BUD - Office 



Purpose of the position:

An interesting and demanding position has arisen within the airline CAMO Organization to work mainly on both scheduled and unscheduled audits, and occasionally in safety investigations.

This position requires a mid-senior level experienced Safety and Compliance personnel to work closely with CAMO management nominated persons and other department functional manager leads, Competent Authorities in Europe and outside of Europe.

The position is the direct deputy of the Nominated person for Safety and Compliance of the airline CAMO Organization. Objective and confidential manner of communication, ability to defend airline’s interests, balanced and keen on details personality is an asset for the candidate. Due to the nature of the work, a negative criminal record is a must. Proficiency in EASA regulatory framework is a must. Familiarity with other regulatory framework, such as GCAA of UAE, UK CAA, FAA is an advantage.

Technical experience with Airbus aircraft is an advantage. The position requires occasional travel of 3-5 days. Dynamic and enthusiastic personality is an advantage.

  • Monitoring the compliance with, and adequacy of procedures required to ensure safe and airworthy aircraft required by ORO.GEN.200(a)(6) and by Part-M and Part-CAMO,
  • Verifying maintenance and airworthiness of the aircraft, that the standards required by the Authority and the Company approved Manuals and Programs are complied with,
  • Present reports, concepts on functional meetings.
  • The timely resolution of all issues and non-conformities raised during annual or unscheduled Authority audits or other external regulatory agency audits as may be required
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and safety performance of external contractors by monitoring, including monitoring of all sub-contracted activities
  • Providing assistance to the resolution of any contentious internal non-conformities to ensure acceptable WIZZ exposure to risk if the issue cannot be totally solved by the responsible
  • Ensuring immediate Company reaction to Authority assessments and/or directives
  • Performs monitoring of activities on continued compliance of Part-CAMO and approved internal manuals
  • Checks potential maintenance providers before selection and ability to conduct Management of Change.
  • Monitor industry legislation changes, safety and compliance trends and risks that may have an impact on technical operations
  • Determine effects of industry legislation changes over internal procedures to support CAME revisions.
  • Manages the follow up of corrective actions for audit, inspection findings
  • Prepare corrective action plan for CA’s findings in liaison with the HME for submittal of it to CA
  • Supervises compliance with the personnel authorizations requirements in the current CAME
  • Ability to process safety reports related to technical operations and contracted maintenance activities
  • Perform safety investigations and issues safety recommendations related to technical operations and maintenance activities
  • Manages safety projects and risk mitigation of safety issues (hazards) assigned
  • Edit and distributes safety and quality bulletins
  • Performs safety and quality training for dedicated internal and contracted personnel.



  • Finalized BSc or MSc degree
  • Fluent professional English both written and spoken
