Senior Manager Navigation
Purpose of the role:
To provide and maintain enhanced level of navigation procedures related management oversight of Wizz Air fleet and to supervise / coordinate the work of Flight Operation Officers with his best knowledge in order to obtain safe, economical operation on the highest standard. To support concerned Wizz departments with cost and time related information on planned routes and other navigation related charges.
Senior Manager Navigation reports to Head of Operations Control.

Key responsibilities:
- Preparing (postflight) reports to other departments
- Monitoring navigation related regulations, recommendations, and update procedures if necessary
- Analysing the navigation related performance of the company and preparing reports / recommendations for the Head of Operations Control
- Providing recommendations on improving navigation related processes, systems and management practices in OCC
- Developing and amending of OCC procedures and maintenance of day-to-day systems in OCC
- Coordination of OCC related BCP procedures
- Participating in: Weekly Team meeting, chair
- Participating in: Monthly Team meeting, attendee
- Change navigation related processes (only which do not have any effect on flight safety)
- Change setting in FPS processes (only which do not have any effect on flight safety)
Requirements:
- Completed university or college degree
- Valid Flight Operation Officer Licence, category B
- University or college degree
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- 3 or more years of experience in aviation industry
- Work well under pressure
- Decision-making skills
- Creative thinking
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to a Safety Management System
- Teamwork skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
