Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU or in countries with an operating base
- Minimum high school degree completed
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Fluent English (both written and spoken)
- Ability to swim 50 meters without any help
Please note that upon successful completion of our recruitment process, a pre-payment of 13.950 EUR as an initial fee is required. By being accepted for the program, you acknowledge your willingness to take part in a full-time integrated training program with relocation to both premises of the Wizz Air Pilot Academy's contracted flight schools.
Please note that the tuition fee of the Ab-Initio training (13.950 EUR) doesn’t cover costs such as accommodation, living costs, travel expenses nor the Advanced training or Wizz Air training that are compulsory for being released as a First Officer.
RECRUITMENT
If your profile is matching the basic requirements, get ready for submitting your application. Once completing the application form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Given your profile meets our requirements, you will receive the invitation to the upcoming recruitment event. You can reserve your slot by following the instructions laid out in the guidance provided by the Wizz Air Pilot Recruitment Team. Once your slot is confirmed, you have nothing else to do than prepare for the assessment. Please note that invitations to the recruitment events are subject to payment of the recruitment fee.

TRAININGS
The training consists of three parts
- Wizz Air Pilot Academy program: Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Engine Piston Class Rating (MEP) with Multi-Crew Co-operation (MCC), Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), Theoretical Knowledge. Your progress during the training is monitored and supported by Wizz Air. The whole program is completed in around 17 - 21 months, depending on the applicable circumstances.
- Advanced training: Airline Transition Program (ATP) - An introduction course to Multi Pilot Airline Operations. This 5-day-course includes 3 days of Simulator training and prepares you for the A320 Type Transition. Airbus A320 Type Transition - A 5-week transition course to train cadets for Airbus A320 operations.
- WIZZ Training: At this stage Wizz Air introduces you to its specific airline operations. This Company Introduction and Conversion Training takes approximately 6-7 weeks, and is followed by 6-7 weeks of actual Line Flying Under Supervision, during which you will operate the aircraft under the supervision of an experienced Line Training Captain.
