Ancillary Trading Manager 

Based in Budapest 

Purpose of the position:

The Ancillary Trading Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of ancillary products defining and following market/route level ancillary pricing strategies, working closely with the Trading, Ticket Revenue Optimization, Ancillary Products and Data Science teams. Participate in cross functional development projects of ancillary product and pricing related systems and processes.

Ancillary Trading Manager analyzes ancillary stream performance, define and apply strategic and tactical pricing actions.

The Ancillary Revenue Optimization Manager reports to the Senior Revenue Optimization Manager within the Revenue organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and apply market/route level ancillary product pricing strategy.
• Execute tactical pricing actions
• Monitor non-ticket revenue streams ensuring performance is in line or exceeds the budget (KPIs: RASK, Unit Revenue).
• Working together with the Data Science and Digital teams for improving systems,  processes and reporting with the aim of maximizing company KPIs.
• Work closely with Trading Managers to achieve optimal total revenue performance
• Implementation of changes to the fees & charges portfolio in support of the Ancillary Product team.
• Participation in cross functional ancillary revenue related projects.

Requirements:

• Dedication, positivity, integrity and inclusivity
• College or university degree
• 3-5 years of experience in a multinational environment, experience in aviation is a plus
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced level of EXCEL, PowerPoint
• Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate to the upper level of the organization
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to cooperate with a variety of stakeholders, team player  personality
• Strong sense of business ownership and accountability for own portfolio
• Drive to learn and improve professionally
• Good project management skills
• Fluent English (both verbal and written)
• Ability to live and work in Budapest, Hungary
