Automation Manager 

Based in BUD - Office 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

As automation manager you will drive the execution of automation initiatives across the organization. You will guide a team of specialists, develop and maintain the automation roadmap, and ensure alignment with business goals. Additionally, you will establish standards and track the performance of automation products to deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage automation team(s) to deliver high quality, professional and proactive day to day service to our internal customers
  • Go-to person for collaboration with business stakeholders across enterprise to understand business processes and translate these into Automation solutions
  • Contributes automation KPIs, and ensures re-use of automation technologies across landscape and departments
  • Contributes to the value stream strategy and roadmap
  • Supports the delivery of automation projects from feasibility study through current state process analysis and documentation (business requirements collection), future state process design and solution modeling to successful deployment.
  • Assists in pro-active discovery and delivery on Automation opportunities, and results across enterprise
  • Manages and coaches Business Process Reengineering team consisting of Business Analysts and Lean experts
  • The role supports the automation intake pipeline and prioritization, gathers detailed requirements and designs the workflow of the automation
  • Works with Enterprise Architecture and aligns on architectural vision
  • Maintains the partnerships with vendors, and manages budget and financials
  • Establish ways of working to ensure best-practises, automation solutions and reusable components  are used across Departments.
  • Drives pragmatic approach to Automation capability set up to promote best practice definition and sharing
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams - work with different departments to identify automation opportunities and develop project scopes and requirements

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ working experience, with the 2+ years relevant experience in: Process automations and Business Process Re-engineering
  • You have a proven track record as Team Coordinator , where you have delivered automation solutions with measurable outcomes
  • Proven track record in successful delivery of international Projects
  • Solid knowledge of Automation technologies (RPA, IPA, APA), BPA, AI technologies
  • Experienced in working with Agile/SCRUM methodology
  • Competent to work in all phases of application development activities, including analysis, design, develop/enhance, test and implement data-driven apps under general supervision.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Business acumen is important (understanding of organizational structure, business functions and processes, goals, metrics etc.)
  • Metrics driven with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent command of English both written and spoken
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team and international environment
  • Collaboration and Communication – Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Continuous Learning - Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation technologies and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge
