Avionics Engineer 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

As a part of Wizz Air Hungary CAMO, the avionics engineer will perform continuing airworthiness tasks related to avionics ATA chapter items for both Wizz Air Hungary and Wizz Air Malta fleets in order to ensure the airworthiness of the Wizz Air Hungary and Wizz Air Malta fleets.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide a detailed review of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives regarding avionics
  • Assist MCC in the resolution of repetitive defects
  • Own and develop the aircraft data collection system
  • Provide reliability & maintenance program improvements
  • Provide support for aircraft lease returns
  • Manage field loadable software
  • Manage software status across the aircraft fleet
  • Manage aircraft software retrofits
  • Manage ELT registration
  • Support the Continuing Airworthiness Manager and the Head of Maintenance and Engineering in any other tasks
  • Cooperate in developing and creating processes and procedures

 

 

Requirements:

  • Completed university or college degree
  • 2 years of relevant work experience within a CAMO or AMO organization is desired
  • A320FAM CEO/NEO type training (Level III) is desired; A330 is an advantage
  • Fuel Tank Safety training, EWIS training, and Human Factors training are desired
  • Thorough knowledge of Part-M, Part-CAMO, and Part-145 regulations
  • AMOS working experience is preferred
  • Fluent English language proficiency
