Avionics Engineer 

Based in Budapest 



Purpose of the position:


As a part of Wizz Air Hungary CAMO, avionics engineer will perform continuing airworthiness task related to avionics ATA chapter item in for both Wizz Air Hungary and Wizz Air Malta fleet in order to ensure the airworthiness of Wizz Air Hungary and Wizz Air Malta fleet.

Responsibilities include:


  • Provide a detailed review of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives regarding avionics
  • Assist MOC in the resolution of repetitive defects
  • Own and develop the aircraft data collection system
  • Provide reliability & maintenance program improvements
  • Provide support of aircraft lease returns
  • Manage field loadable software
  • Manage software status on the aircraft fleet
  • Manage aircraft software retrofits
  • Manage ELT registration
  • Supporting the Continuing Airworthiness Manager and the Head of Maintenance and Engineering in any other tasks
  • Cooperation at developing and creating processes and procedures




  • Completed university or college degree.
  • 2 years relevant work experience within CAMO or AMO organisation is desired.
  • A320FAM CEO/NEO type training (Level III) is desired. A330 is an advantage.
  • Fuel Tank Safety training, EWIS training, and Human Factors training is desired.
  • Thorough knowledge of Part-M, Part-CAMO, and Part-145 regulation
  • AMOS working experience is preferred.
  • Fluent English language knowledge
