Cabin Crew Training Standard and Performance Manager 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the role

To ensure the effectiveness, consistency, and compliance of cabin crew training programs and instructor standardisation across the AOC. This role drives excellence in training delivery, monitors performance metrics, and maintains high instructional standards to meet regulatory and operational requirements. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the AOC Cabin Crew Instructor/Trainer Standardisation Program. 
  • Monitor instructor standardisation, performance, competencies, and documentation. 
  • Coordinate standardisation of all Cabin Crew Instructors/Trainers in line with AOC requirements. 
  • Develop and update Cabin Crew Instructor/Trainer training materials. 
  • Publish guidance to ensure instructors are aware of AOC standards and expectations. 
  • Design and uphold robust internal processes for instructor selection and qualification. 
  • Ensure sufficient qualified instructors are available for forecasted training events. 
  • Generate monthly standardisation reports with insights and recommendations. 
  • Monitor cabin crew training performance across all programs using defined KPIs. 
  • Establish and refine Key Performance Targets aligned with training objectives. 
  • Provide guidance on individual training needs and instructor assignments. 
  • Define remedial training plans for crew not meeting AOC standards. 
  • Manage documentation and follow-up for training failures and underperformance. 
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis workshops to address negative performance trends. 
  • Ensure timely implementation of mitigation actions when performance issues arise. 
  • Innovate by introducing modern training methodologies and tools that elevate instructional quality and crew performance.  
  • Proactively develop solutions that align with evolving industry standards and operational needs. 

Liaise with: 

  • Cabin Crew Training Program Manager 
  • AOC Cabin Crew Training Manager 
  • CCTO Manager 
  • Other relevant stakeholders 
  • Participate in team meetings to align goals and strategies per the group training matrix. 

Experience

  • 3-5+ years overall working experience, with 2+ years of relevant experience in crew training or airline operations. 
  • Holding or previously held a Cabin Crew Attestation. 
  • Experience as a Cabin Crew Standardisation Instructor. 

Hard skills

  • Regulatory and compliance knowledge (EASA, IOSA, HUCAA, UKCAA). 
  • Knowledge of aviation training regulations. 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree 
  • Specialized training as per GT OMM. 

Language

Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

Skills and competencies

  • Native or near-native proficiency in spoken and written English. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with a focus on teamwork. 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure. 
  • Strong knowledge of WIZZ flight operations. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable EU aviation regulations. 
  • Familiarity with aviation management systems. 
  • Proficiency in presentation, feedback, and coaching techniques. 
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Ability to motivate and develop others through support and guidance.
