Central Compliance Auditor 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the role

Central Compliance Auditor is responsible for managing the compliance areas of the Central operations. 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor industry legislation changes, compliance and safety trends and concerns that may have an impact on the operations department, included but not limited to Cabin Ops, Flight Ops, Planning, Security, Safety and Compliance. 
  • Being responsible for the development, administration, and maintenance of compliance monitoring function on the following areas: Cabin Operations, Crew and Operations Control, Crew Training, Flight Operations, Ground Operations (including Cargo Operations), Crew Resources and Crew Planning 
  • Ensuring that the Central Operations services are monitored for compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements, additional requirements and standards including IOSA ISARPS, national regulations and standards as established by Wizz Air, and that these activities are carried out under the supervision of the respective Manager. 
  • Preparing, managing and maintaining the yearly Compliance Monitoring Plan related to the area of responsibility including audits and inspections. 
  • Supporting operations domains in the internal and external audits. 
  • Prepare regular reports on Safety and Compliance matters, including EASA Part-IS related functions. 
  • Participate in the relevant monthly and weekly meetings. 
  • Taking part the projects related to the scope of the responsibilities. 
  • Creating root cause analyze and corrective action plan. Reviewing the Management of Change and providing inputs for the Risk Assessment. 

Experience

Desirable aviation experience 

Hard skills

  • Knowledge of Aviation regulations. 
  • Auditor skills 
  • Advanced computer user skills 

Trainings:

  • External: SMS training, Auditing training, Communication 
  • Internal: SMS and FRM trainings 

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 

Language

Fluent in English (both spoken and written) 

Skills and competencies

  • Good interpersonal and communications skills 
  • Great problem solving and organizational skills 
  • Strong team player
