JOB TITLE: Crew Logistics Manager 

BASE: Budapest  

 

 

Purpose of the position:

 

Crew Logistic Manager will report directly to the Head of Operation Planning.  The role’s primary responsibility is the oversight of the Logistic function within the organization. The role will be responsible for the sub-team of Crew Logistic. The main responsibility is to organize, book and optimize travel arrangements (positionings plan, accommodation and transport) for Wizz Air Group crew members. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Driving the agenda for the Logistic Team: taking the leading role in optimizing the Logistic procedures across the organization;  Driving process improvement and automation initiatives within the team
  • Managing the Crew Logistic team (goal setting, motivation, mentoring)
  • Coordination with external parties (transport and accommodation providers)
  • Cooperation with internal stakeholders – Crew Planning, Cabin and Flights Ops Management
  • Accountability for Logistic performance: quality, crew satisfaction, cost efficiency

 

Requirements:

 

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Growth mindset and can-do attitude
  • Good leadership and people management skills (1-3 years of people management experience preferred)
  • Ability to synthesize information into recommendations
  • Good oral and written presentations skills
  • Team work and strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent spoken / written English
  • Ability to live and work in Budapest, Hungary
  • Flexibility to travel as required away from Head Office
  • Completed university or college degree is a must
  • Knowledge of AIMS Crew and Ops system and knowledge of Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements are advantages
