Crew Training Records Junior Manager 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the role

To ensure effective administration, regulatory compliance, and continuous support of all training-related processes across all AOCs. The role is accountable for maintaining accurate training records, crew qualifications, and regulatory documentation to the highest standards, directly contributing to operational readiness and aviation safety. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and validate training records for all AOC and CCTO personnel, ensuring full regulatory compliance. 
  • Monitor crew qualifications and expiry dates; initiate timely actions to maintain readiness. 
  • Identify and report non-compliance issues; ensure corrective actions are implemented. 
  • Execute and refine internal control processes to ensure data integrity and audit readiness. 
  • Manage administrative updates (e.g., AOC changes, name changes, crew absences). 
  • Maintain databases of internal trainers/instructors and external examiners. 
  • Coordinate issuance and re-issuance of licenses and attestations. 
  • Resolve training-related queries and support tickets within a 24-hour SLA. 
  • Deliver onboarding and process training for new hires across all AOCs. 
  • Collaborate on digital tool development and testing for training systems. 
  • Support ad hoc requests from Operators and contribute to cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Lead and manage two direct reports, ensuring clarity of roles, performance expectations, and professional development. 

Experience

  • 1-3+ years of experience, aviation experience is an advantage 
  • Experience in database systems, knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, experience as a regulator or licensing officer is an advantage 

Hard skills

Proficiency in training management systems and Microsoft Office tools 

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 

Language

  • Fluent Hungarian  
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken) 

Skills and competencies

  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines 
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
