Crew Training Records Manager 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the role

The Crew Training Support Manager reports to the Head of Group Training on all documentation of the crew training events and coordinates and supervises the licensing activities of cabin crew members in the AOCs. 

Responsibilities

  • Act as point of contact between Wizz Air and all competent authority (Hg CAA, EASA, GCAA, UKCAA in the matters of Cabin Crew licensing 
  • Act as focal point during crew training audits 
  • Approves and issues cabin crew attestations in WUK and in CCTO; Approves or rejects cabin crew attestation validities. 
  • Be a Line Manager of the Crew Training Support Team (CC,FC)   
  • Oversight of the Training Management System;  
  • Development of new tools for optimizing manual labor needs;  
  • Strategic Planning of training events Record Keeping;  
  • Constantly evaluating and improving workflow within the department  
  • Preparing workflows for new training items on the training management system;  
  • Responsible for all AIMS/CAE qualification management tasks;  
  • Plan workflows focusing on AOC operation support;  
  • Integrate and align crew training performance reporting;  
  • Creating Management reports;  
  • Monitor crew qualification and license management ensuring crew compliance for flying duty;  
  • Record Keeping and qualification management to be conducted in liaison with the relevant AOC nominated person, relevant Cabin Crew Training Managers and Head of CCTO;  
  • Align record keeping procedures according to OMD/CCTO OM of the relevant AOCs  
  • Work under the WAC IMSM  
  • provide the expected training admin services under the WAC - AOCs service agreements.  
  • Act as focal point between Crew Training Administration and, Onboarding, Operations Planning team and Training Planning Team;  
  • Owning the Crew Training Administration Manual;  
  • Ensures timely cabin crew license application in Wizz Air Abu Dhabi and timely preparation CCA in Wizz Air UK.  
  • Ensures timely issuing of the CCA within Cabin Crew Training Organization (CCTO):  
  • Ensures the administration continuity of the Cabin Crew Attestation(CCA) issuing process;  
  • Ensures the technical background of issuing and compliance oversight of the CCA;  
  • Ensures the timely and correct data provision and monitoring towards the Hg CAA;  
  • Liaise with cross functional departments and ensures cooperation and reliability concerning the CCA issuing process, particularly with HR and IT department in all AOCs;  
  • Any other responsibilities as decided from time to time by the Head of Group Training.  

Experience

  • 3-5+ years overall work experience, with 2+ years of relevant work experience from the aeronautical industry;  
  • The need for content knowledge of relevant parts of the AOC holders OPS manual 

Hard skills

  • Knowledge of Applicable EU safety regulations and associated requirements in Commission Regulation (EU) 1178/2011 (known as Aircrew Regulation) 
  • Learning Management Platform knowledge is a must  
  • Good command of various computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) 
  • Flexibility to travel 

Education

Bachelor's or Master’s degree 

Language

Fluent in English (both written and spoken) 

Skills and competencies

  • Strong presentation, influencing and interpersonal skills 
  • Experience in a multi-cultural, international organization  
  • Strong organization, problem-solving and communication skills
