Digital Product and Program Manager 

Based in BUD - Office 

Purpose of the position:

Wizz Air is looking for a talented Product and Program Manager to join our Digital Product & Transformation team, with a focus on the Finance area.

As the Digital Product and Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams creating the future of ways of working. Using digital solutions and leveraging best in class productivity tools, advanced analytics, Wizz Air will make a step change in redefining our internal processes and you will be in the lead of that.

You will be a go to partner for selected business functions (including C-suite leaders), a bridge between Business and Digital. You will align your stakeholders around the product or program vision, define the goals, roadmap and relentlessly measure outcomes. You have a strong bias for lean, optimization and automation. You will partner closely with your fellow Product and Program Managers to ensure intakes are being assessed, dependencies and synergies are mapped.

In this role, you will be required to master both Product as well as Program Management, and tailor the approaches to deliver more value faster. You will apply people change management to ensure adoption of the new processes and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead several cross-functional teams to evaluate internal customer needs, existing processes and solutions, identify improvement and value creation areas 
• Develop product vision and strategy together with the business owners, representing Digital vision and architectural guidelines
• Understand business requirements and prioritize efforts to create maximum value 
• Support business case creation and make sure that the IT resources are allocated in order to optimize business benefit
• Responsible for product value delivery, and measuring outcomes through Metrics/KPIs
• Manage yearly budget (OPEX, CAPEX) planning and resource planning on Product / Program level
• Manage vendors according to vendor management guidelines
• Lead several projects running in parallel, and pro-actively communicate on all aspects of delivery 
• Provide information for management by preparing short/ long-term forecasts and special reports and analyses 
• Control all cost associated with activities incl. 3rd party vendors 
• Coach team on product and program management techniques and methods (agile or waterfall) according to IT Governance guidelines
• Challenge status quo, and pro-actively lead improvements in ways of working 
• Stay at the forefront of digital technologies, trends and find opportunities for innovation and hypotheses on how to drive towards specific business goals

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years working in an international business environment, out of which 3+ years in product / program management with proven track record of taking products / digital solutions to market
• Experience in leading projects / programs to measurable value delivery
• Experience in lean, business process mapping, and Agile development practices  
• In-depth knowledge of the relationship between business processes and products vision
• CAPEX and OPEX budget ownership and management experience
• Vendor management experience
• Resource management experience
• SAP knowledge and experience is an advantageUnderstanding of IT Development methodologies and processes (waterfall, agile)
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree
• Fluent in English (C1 and above)
• A strategic thinker able to identify opportunities for growth and value creation
• Ability to think and act creatively, ability to prioritize to ensure goals are met
• Good leadership skills
• Strong analytical skillset
• Great communication and presentation skills
