Exciting chance for young professionals at Wizz Air’s Operations Department, who either have a Student status in Hungary or are Fresh Graduates and looking to continue their studies.


A unique opportunity to be part of the 24/7 Operations Control Centre, acting as an Airport Operations Coordinator you will play a key role at the time of any airport operations related disruptions. You should apply if you have strong English communication and problem solving skills as you will be a key point of contact to all airports, liaising as a bridge between the Operations Control Centre, Airport Ground Handling Agents and Ground Operations Managers.




  • Communication, follow-up and assistance in case of irregular operations;
  • Drafting and sending operational notifications to Ground Handling Companies and Hotel/Transportation providers;
  • Communication with Ground Handlers, following-up on service recovery in real-time;
  • Authorization of complimentary services;
  • On-time monitoring of operational messages;
  • Sharing current travel restrictions with ground handling partners and providing assistance for their implementation
  • Reporting




  • Active university/college full-time student status in Hungary;
  • Ability to work in 12-hour rotation (7:00-19:00, 19:00-7:00) including weekends and holidays, maximum 3-4 shifts/week;
  • English proficiency;
  • Problem solving and organization skills;
  • MS Office skills;
  • Experience within airport/ground handling operations is an advantage
