E-Commerce Lead
Based in BUD - Office
Purpose of the position:
The e-Commerce Team Lead is overall responsible for all e-Commerce activities across the Wizz Air network of 50+ countries. The role’s primary responsibility is to maximize the revenue and user experience within the e-Commerce platform across all channels (wizzair.com on website & application, WIZZ application) with close to 800 million visitors on the online platforms yearly. The Team Lead is responsible for developing the e-commerce strategy, managing the day-to-day monitoring and activities to maximize the performance, as well as leading Wizz Air`s e-Commerce team.

Responsibilities:
- Maximise the revenue and user experience within the Wizz Air e-commerce platforms across all channels (wizzair.com website & mobile, WIZZ application) of close to 800 million visitors yearly.
- Develop the e-commerce & Distribution Strategy in line with the company`s vision and mission translating that into deliverable action plan.
- Align the e-Commerce Strategy with main stakeholders within the Commercial and Digital/IT organisations.
- Design and execute the performance marketing from bringing visits to the site.
- Manage the day-to-day monitoring and running of e-commerce activities to maximise revenue and improve user experience.
- Define and monitor core e-Commerce KPIs.
- Effectively influence customer purchase decisions and ongoingly improve and optimize their path through the full funnel - including customer acquisition, merchandising, booking flow conversion, payment, post-booking, and customer engagement.
- Cooperate with the commercial teams on a going basis to understand market strengths and weaknesses and develop action plans to address them.
- Lead major projects related to e-commerce area.
- Lead, inspire, supervise, and develop the e-commerce team.
- Influence the broader Wizz Air organization to develop the digital and e-commerce platform.
- Allocate tasks to managers to create an efficient and effective team.
- Ensure that all available tools for success are managed under one team and improve the way of working.
- Place emphasis on the key stages of the e-commerce value chain and appoint managers to take responsibility for each of those key stages.
- Control costs and manage budget associated with e-Commerce activities.
- Lead and manage external resources (agencies, digital vendors).
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of professional working experience with a blue-chip, highly customer focused company in fast growing sectors.
- Minimum 5 years of fully fledged e-commerce experience.
- Broad e-commerce experience with at least one specialty (customer acquisition, website and app management, CRM, SEM, web/app analytics, customer engagement.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Fluent in English (C1 and above)

- Experience of managing complex projects in multi-country operations.
