Enterprise Architect 

Based in BUD - Office 

Purpose of the position:

Wizz Air is seeking a strategic and dynamic Enterprise Architect to oversee our comprehensive IT landscape. The successful candidate will act as both a visionary and a manager, leading the coordination of architectural efforts and guiding external architects to align with our company’s objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a holistic view of Wizz Air’s IT strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets.
• Ensure that the business and IT are in alignment by linking the business mission, strategy, and processes to the IT strategy.
• Lead and coordinate the efforts of internal and external architecture teams.
• Define, implement, and manage the process of designing and maintaining the enterprise architecture.
• Facilitate the reuse of ideas, components, services, and proven patterns across various company IT projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to guide the direction of enterprise architecture models.
• Suggest ideas to reduce costs in IT and business leadership.
• Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance.
• Ensure efficiency, security, and support of the organization’s goals.
• Create methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.
• Establish standards and guidelines for working with numerous external vendors to ensure consistency and quality of service.
• Promote the use of enterprise architecture tooling to enhance architectural practices.
• Advocate for TOGAF principles and, if possible, utilize TOGAF certification to advance the architectural framework.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good leadership and motivational skills.
• Experience in modeling and graphic representations.
• Knowledge of TOGAF and enterprise architecture tooling is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field is preferred.
