Group Training Planner 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the role

To ensure the compliant, efficient, and professional administration of ATO training activities by managing onboarding, documentation, and coordination processes for trainees, instructors, and staff, in alignment with ATO standards and regulatory requirements. 

Responsibilities

  • Execute onboarding processes for ATO trainees, instructors, and staff in accordance with approved manuals and regulatory standards. 
  • Provide support to ATO trainees regarding training schedules, licensing, and documentation. 
  • Manage ground training events, including communication, registration, documentation, and distribution of training materials. 
  • Coordinate ATO landing trainings, including aircraft allocation, approval acquisition, trainee eligibility verification, and change management. 
  • Maintain and manage trainee documentation, course requirements, and enrolment in additional or external e-training programs. 
  • Support the ATO instructor selection process, including communication, background checks, assessments, and event coordination. 
  • Generate and present performance reports, highlighting key statistics and trends in ATO training activities. 
  • Liaise with the Senior Manager Flight Crew Training, Chief Flight Instructor, Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor, and Pilot Onboarding Supervisor on relevant ATO matters. 
  • Participate in internal meetings to align team goals and ensure consistency with the Group Training meeting matrix. 

Experience

1+ years of experience, previous experience in aviation is an advantage. 

Hard skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools 

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 

Language

Fluent in English (both written and spoken) 

Skills and competencies

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple training activities and stakeholders. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with trainees, instructors, and internal departments. 
  • Attention to detail in managing documentation, eligibility checks, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic training environment. 
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
