Head of Pricing & Revenue Management West 

Based in BUD - Office 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

 

The Head of Pricing & Revenue Management West is responsible for maximizing the revenue line for Wizz Air Malta. The role leads a team tasked with driving and executing pricing and revenue management strategies, ensuring the business achieves its commercial targets and delivers on growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of performance and growth.
  • Ensure continuous testing, enhancement, and development of the Revenue Management System and related processes.
  • Manage and oversee the development of revenue reporting, ensuring accuracy and relevance of revenue reports.
  • Monitor and actively participate in company processes that have a direct impact on pricing and inventory management.
  • Lead cross-functional tactical trading actions in cooperation with commercial functions.
  • Support short-term and long-term capacity optimization initiatives to achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate on the budgeting and revenue forecasting processes, ensuring targets align with strategic goals.
  • Oversee and manage the competitor monitoring process to respond effectively to market changes.
  • Take the lead on joint efforts with Marketing, E-commerce, and PR in defining and executing promotions and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with partners for contracting, coordination of work, and service developments.
  • Work closely with Airport Development and E-commerce teams to deliver on passenger targets and optimize route performance.

 

Requirements:

 

  • University degree, preferably in an analytical field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of overall professional experience, including at least 5 years in Revenue Management or a closely related field, and a minimum of 2 years in team management roles within Revenue Management.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of economic concepts and principles.
  • Data analytics experience is a plus.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to live and work in Budapest.
  • Limited travel required.
