IT Security Professional 

Based in BUD - Office 

Purpose of the position:

As Wizz Air continues its rapid growth and we also becoming visibility targets. The external threat environment has also changed dramatically as technology becomes more complex, criminal activity more prevalent and the regulatory penalty more serious. Wizz Air is recruiting in its Global Info & Cyber Security team to achieve the company’s security vision and deliver state-of-the-art security.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing and delivering on IT security-related activities
• Works with cyber security experts to ensure Cyber delivery according to the cyber roadmap, manages and controls 3rd party vendors to support Security delivery
• Recommend security enhancements to leadership team
• Observes and monitor the security of company environment including websites, mobile applications, business applications, computers and databases
• Establishing and overseeing the organization's security architecture
• Representing security in IT/Business projects, purchasing projects

Day-to-day tasks:

• Leading and delivering a strategy for the deployment of information security technologies.
• Delivering new security technology approaches and implementing next generation solutions.
• Monitoring security vulnerabilities and hacking threats in network and host systems.
• Tracking latest IT security innovations and keeping abreast of latest cyber security technologies, to then introduce and drive value where there is a strong case to do so.
• Engaging with IT Operations, IT Delivery and 3rd parties on IT security threats and effective mitigation.

Requirements:

• College or University degree
• Fluent English
• Knowledge and hands on knowledge of Cyber Security best practices, tools and techniques
• Min. 5 years of IT and information security experience
• Experience in infrastructure security, application security and controls, identity and access management, data protection processes, cyber threat management, incident response, vulnerability testing, cloud security
• Knowledge and awareness of trends in information security-related areas and technology, programming
• Proven knowledge of IT security tools (e.g. PAM, IdM, Vulnerability scanner, pentester tools, MDM, O365 security administering, zerotrust solution, endpoint security, etc)
• Highly Desirable - Accreditation in leading practices such as ITIL, UK Cyber Essentials, ISO27001, SANS, ISACA, CISSP, CISA, CEH.
• Highly Desirable - Experience of managing and partnering with 3rd party suppliers
