Junior Operations Performance Manager 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

 

The Junior Operations Performance Manager is primarily responsible for applying data analysis processes to understand, interpret, and predict patterns in operations. Using these data-driven insights, the candidate will recommend improvements to business practices. Additionally, the candidate will closely liaise with the Central Business Partner team to build advanced data analytics products and dashboards for the Operations teams, from ideation to creating roadmaps and delivery.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop business intelligence tools for trend analysis in key operational areas, including but not limited to on-time performance, regularity, aircraft, and crew utilization etc
  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting request for Management with insights included in a presentable format.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used for analysis and reporting.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and oversee the implementation of operational processes and systems, ensuring adherence to established standards and achievement of set operational target
  • Operate governance Framework to drive Continuous Improvement, captures and follows up actions with stakeholders. Persuade and motivate stakeholders to act on systematic challenges.
  • Prepare management summaries for leadership team on identified trends and actions
  • Utilize predictive analytics techniques to forecast future trends and outcomes.
  • Closely liaise and align strategy and actions with the Digital Data Analytics team
  • Drive the realization of reporting and analytics projects-based business request Understand main stakeholders’ responsibilities, build problem statements, propose and implement resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive KPI reports to monitor and evaluate the performance of key operational aspects.
  • Analyze competitor data and market trends to provide strategic insights.
  • Actively seeks opportunities, embracing the ideation process to leverage the possibilities in data driven operations
  • Provide training and support to team members on data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analytics and operations management.
  • Lead the development of tools and systems to enhance operational efficiency

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Good usage of MS Excel; Power Pivot; Power Querry; Power BI and basic understanding of DAX and SQL.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to cooperate with a variety of stakeholders, team player personality.
  • Clear communicator
  • Leadership, can do attitude.
  • Good understanding of agile project management practices
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and modelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to live and work in Budapest, Hungary
  • Fluent spoken and written English
