 Purpose of the position:


The aim of the Legal Manager - Innovation role is to drive innovation within the Legal function and to identify and implement tools to streamline new or existing practices, as well as managing design, rollout, and training for new systems. The role will be key in creating processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the legal team, facilitate change, and control costs, with a view to supporting the fast-expanding Wizz Air business.




  • Contract standardization, process optimization, and automation within the Legal function.
  • Transform, develop and enforce compliance and corporate governance frameworks
  • Define and drive strategic and operational initiatives with on-time and on-budget result
  • Identify risks, stoppers, and bottlenecks
  • Design and transform processes for record management and data analytics, and report on key operational and substantive metrics
  • Review and drafting of contracts and standard legal documents
  • Project management and collaboration across functions
  • Manage and instruct external legal counsel
  • Assist with budget matters and optimizing workflows




  • Law Degree, or equivalent (legal or compliance studies)
  • 3 years of work experience, of which at least 1 year at a reputable law firm or company
  • Prior experience developing playbooks and policies
  • Fluent professional English both written and spoken
  • Excellent legal drafting skills
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing business needs as well as being independently proactive in generating action plans and structure
  • Excellent execution and coordinating skills
  • Pro-active and pragmatic attitude
  • Project management and / or transformation experience
  • Tech-savvy with analysis and data management
  • Ability to travel
