Maintenance Logistics Specialist 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the role

The Maintenance Logistics Specialist ensures the efficient management and delivery of aircraft components and materials, supporting global maintenance operations while ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. 

Responsibilities

  • Control all component movements and ensure availability as per contractually agreed terms. 
  • Arrange the delivery of parts from the main base to outer stations. 
  • Coordinate logistic activities worldwide on a case-by-case basis. 
  • Communicate with Maintenance Providers, Maintenance Operations Control, Maintenance Planners, affected suppliers, and other involved parties. 
  • Monitor Loan- and Exchange events. 
  • Participate in production meetings. 
  • Maintain purchasing practices and procedures in compliance with EASA requirements. 
  • Arrange, trace, and track ongoing shipments worldwide. 
  • Ensure timely follow-up of open purchase orders to meet operational requirements. 
  • Source materials and provide alternative plans for material-related issues. 
  • Continuously report the status of deliveries to all involved departments. 
  • Follow applicable requirements of the Safety Management System as per Section 4 of OMM. 

Experience

Minimum 1 year of work experience 

Hard skills

Proficiency in MS Office at an advanced level 

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 

Language

Fluent English (both written and spoken) 

Skills and competencies

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under time pressure. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Able to work in shifts - Shift pattern (4days* 12h on, 4 days off)
