Material Planner 

Based in Budapest 

Purpose of the position:

As a Material Planner, you will control the material flow, coordinate the problem resolution regarding material transactions or the plane, execute, and monitor of purchasing process of aircraft spare parts, which is initiated based on maintenance plans and ad-hoc requests. You will be in daily contact with vendors, warehouses, maintenance engineers, logistic providers, maintenance planners and aviation engineers from all Wizz Air maintenance stations and offices in Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely and proper administration of all material related transaction
• Inventory management of spares in accordance with the group policy and goals.
• Ensure compliancy of the materials with the aviation standards
• Execution of operational procurement and logistics tasks related to material supply.
• Operational logistics tasks related to the implementation of the maintenance plan.
• Maste and transactional data management.

Skills and competencies:

• Knowledge of logistics, purchasing processes
• Ability to work independently, with precision and excellent organizational skills. Demonstrates strong collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Flexible and creative, able to adapt to changing situations and propose innovative solutions.
• Strong team player with the ability to organize and manage tasks effectively.
• Advanced user level of IT proficiency, high level skills in any ERP system and Microsoft Excel.

Requirements:

• Fresh graduated or few years experience in supply chain, logistics, OR aviation
• Bachelor degree
• Business English
• Preferred engineering background
