Revenue Optimization Manager 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the role

The Revenue Optimization Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing continuous development of the pricing systems and related processes to effectively reflect demand trend changes to maximize revenue and optimize systematic pricing. 

Responsibilities

  • Focus on continuous development of the pricing related systems to effectively reflect demand trend changes. 
  • Developing and refining pricing processes to increase efficiency and maximize the capabilities of pricing systems. 
  • Use innovative yield management techniques and a wealth of data to drive the most optimal pricing strategy. 
  • Regular and ad hoc analysis and presentations to senior management for decision-making support. 
  • Cooperate frequently with the Trading teams to customize system settings by market according to demand and competitive context. 
  • Work closely with the Data Science team to develop the PRM systems with the latest AI solutions. 

Experience

  • At least 3-5+ years of overall experience in pricing or strategy function, management consulting, or an analytically-driven role. 
  • Experience in travel, e-commerce, or online marketing is a plus. 

Hard skills

  • Proficient in MS Excel/PowerPoint. 
  • Additional technical skills are a plus: VBA, PowerBI, SQL. 

Education

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or sciences

Language

Fluent English (both written and spoken)

Skills and competencies

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience in working with and interpreting data and analytics.
