Senior Manager Ancillary Revenue

Purpose of the position:
The Ancillary Manager will report to the Head of Ancillary Revenue within the Revenue organization. The Senior Ancillary revenue manger will manage two sub teams of Product Portfolio Managers and Analytics & Pricing Managers. The role will be accountable for delivering incremental value in ancillary revenues, a very significant and growing source of income for Wizz Air. The Senior Ancillary Revenue Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of existing revenue streams and identification of new revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the ancillary team towards Revenue maximization, performance improvement and goal delivery.
- Coaching and mentoring the team members via regular sessions, effective task allocation and project distribution
- Ability to influence the broader Wizz Air organization to develop the ancillary ecosystem
- Develop pricing structure and strategy for non-ticket revenue streams
- Support and/or lead advanced data science integration in non-ticket product pricing
- Ownership and development of all ancillary product portfolio
- Coordinate the identification and effective implementation of new partnerships including activities such as: tendering, negotiation and contract signature
- Cooperating on a weekly basis with the rest of the commercial organization to understand market strengths and weaknesses and quickly develop action plans to address them
- Daily coordination of e-commerce activities, campaigns and developments
Requirements:
- Dedication, Positivity, integrity and inclusivity
- University or college degree preferably in Digital, Economics or Marketing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in a commercial/Revenue or similar management role, with people management responsibilities within a multinational environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to interact with partners, colleagues, and cross-functional teams
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Solid project management skills
- Advanced level of Excel and Power point
- Good oral and written presentations skills
- Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
- Fluent spoken/written English
- Ability to live and work in Budapest, Hungary
- Flexibility to travel as required away from Head Office
