Senior Manager Cabin Crew Training 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

 

To lead the Cabin Crew Training Organisation (CCTO), ensuring the effective delivery, program, performance, and standardization of cabin crew training across AOCs, while driving strategic improvements in efficiency, automation, and process optimization.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensuring the execution of the cabin crew training management activities for AOC defined under the service letter agreement.
  • Ensuring that sufficient resources are allocated to the CCTO training operations and raising any issues to the Head of Group Training (CCTO Accountable Manager);
  • Ensuring that the CCTO Cabin Crew training programs are aligned with AOC operational procedures, safety standards, and performance expectations;
  • In conjunction with the CCTO Manager, ensuring the maintenance and execution of the CCTO initial cabin crew training program;
  • In conjunction with the Cabin Crew Training Standardisation Manager, developing and maintaining the AOC Cabin Crew Instructor/Trainer Standardisation program, to ensure its
  • In conjunction with the Cabin Crew Training Program Manager, ensuring that the AOC Cabin Crew training programs are aligned with AOC operational procedures, safety standards, and performance expectations;
  • In conjunction with the Cabin Crew Training Performance Manager, ensuring effective performance monitoring of all cabin crew training programs;
  • Liaising with AOC Crew Training Managers on all cabin crew training matters;
  • Liaising with the Senior Group Training Services Manager on all training services matters;
  • Liaising with the Senior Group Training Operations Manager on all training operations matters;
  • Liaising with the Group Training Safety Manager on all safety matters;
  • Liaising with the Group Training Compliance Monitoring Manager on all compliance matters;
  • Liaising with Group Training Planning and Resource Manager on all training planning and resources matters;
  • Assessing future potential risk through an active review of future demands in line with projected operational growth; and proactively identifying suitable resources, technologies, systems or processes to mitigate the risk;
  • Participating in Meetings to align on team goals in accordance with the group training meeting matrix.
  • Driving strategic initiatives aimed at improving group-wide cabin crew training efficiency, including harmonization of training programs, process optimization, and automation.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of training delivery through data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and alignment with long-term organizational goals.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • 5-7+ years overall working experience, with 4+ years of relevant experience in crew training or airline operations
  • Regulatory and compliance knowledge (EASA, IOSA, HUCAA, UKCAA)
  • Knowledge of aviation training regulations
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree
  • Specialized training as per GT OMM
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills to manage multi-AOC cabin crew training operations
  • Ability to develop and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to ensure training effectiveness
  • Skilled in process design and optimization for training performance management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external authorities
  • Analytical mindset with experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement
  • Operational planning and execution in a dynamic, safety-critical environment
  • High level of problem-solving ability and decision-making under regulatory frameworks
  • Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams to ensure training consistency and quality
