Senior Operations Portfolio Manager

Purpose of the role

Responsible for the oversight and team management of the following operational services within the organization: Ops PMO, Ops Data Analytics, and Ops Product Management.

Responsibilities

General: 

• Lead and manage the PMO, Data Analytics, and Ops Product teams. 
• Foster individual team members’ skill development and conduct regular performance reviews. 
• Anticipate necessary changes and set a development strategy for the teams. 
• Occasionally attend supplier events to explore innovative solutions and business opportunities. 

Ops PMO: 

• Establish PMO policy to effectively coordinate strategic project implementations. 
• Coordinate the execution of approved joint projects by supervising assigned managers and project teams. 
• Lead and coordinate major high-value and complex operational projects carried out by the airlines’ AOCs and the Central organization. 
• Present project results and ongoing initiatives at periodic Project Committee meetings. 
• Educate key personnel at each airline on joint projects and individual implementation processes. 

Ops Data Analytics: 

• Ensure standardized operational KPI management among all Wizz Air Airlines including AC Utilization, Crew Utilization, and On-time performance metrics. 
• Oversee the performance of the Data Analytics and Reporting teams. 
• Drive data analytics projects such as dashboards, reports, or BI models until successful realization. 

Ops Product Management: 

• Accountable for Crew Logistics, Crew Uniform Provision, Immigration, and Operations Stationary Services. 
• Support and coordinate Central Operations financial planning in cooperation with financial stakeholders. 
• Support the development of long-term financial objectives and targets. Control costs and budget of Central Services. 
• Control KPIs and SLAs of providers connected to services. Oversee the tendering process of providers to ensure service continuity. 

Experience

5-7+ years of overall working experience 4+ years of experience managing complex projects

Hard skills

Advanced computer user skills. 

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 

Language

Fluent English (both written and spoken).
