Short Term Maintenance Planner

Purpose of the role

The Maintenance Planner plans and controls the Scheduled Maintenance Events. 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the Line Maintenance Plan and Work packages 
  • Managing and approve work up to and including A-checks maintenance, including work orders (WOs), modifications, repairs, LLP changes 
  • Prepare and request work for line maintenance, up to and including A-checks maintenance, including workorders for troubleshooting, defect rectification, modification, deferred final repairs, LLP changes. 
  • Support LTP with planning work for base maintenance events, C-check, and End of Lease work scope, including Job Cards for modification, deferred final repairs, LLP changes 
  • Prepare “bridging” maintenance check for incorporation of the aircraft into the approved operator’s maintenance program as per Senior Manager Fleet Transition request 
  • Control deferred items rectification with contracted maintenance organizations 
  • Controlling WAH representative work at Maintenance Organization, performing the C-check Organization and participate on regular Short Term Planning meetings  
  • Cooperation with MOC, AOG Desk, LTP in order to handle on time Due List’s works 
  • Tracking of Deviations from Maintenance Program 
  • Checking of AMOS on sampling basis for proper updating with maintenance data  
  • Check AMOS on sampling basis for proper updating with maintenance data 
  • Check AMOS on sampling basis of submitted records, including ADs, label booking of Life Limited components, deferrals during Maintenance (MEL/CDL/DD/RDAS/CRAS). 
  • Verify and control of sample tasks 
  • Check the accuracy of flight hours and cycles records 
  • Follow applicable requirements of Safety Management System i.a.w. Section 4 of OMM 

Experience

Any previous experience in a similar role is an advantage 

Hard skills

  • A320FAM CEO/NEO type training (an asset); 
  • A330FAM type training (an asset); 
  • EWIS, Fuel Tank Safety and Human Factor training (an asset); 
  • Thorough knowledge of Part-145 and Part-M regulations (an asset); 
  • Good knowledge of AMOS and MS Office tools (an asset); 

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (minimum - BSc) 

Language

Fluent English (both written and spoken)
