WIZZ Management Trainee - Safety and Compliance

About the Safety and Compliance Department

The Safety and Compliance Department at Wizz Air ensures that all aviation operations are conducted in full compliance with regulatory requirements. The team is focused on the Safety and Compliance Management System, especially with regard to integrating and onboarding new joiners. The department plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety, monitoring audits, and ensuring that all documentation, training, and safety measures are consistently maintained and improved.

Your Responsibilities

📝 Safety Management System: Participate in the development of the Aviation Safety Management System and contribute to ensuring the safe operation of aircraft
🔍 Monitor Action Items: Follow up on open action items, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement
📊 Statistics and Dashboards: Define and maintain statistics and dashboards related to audits and inspections, analyzing trends and making recommendations
📄 Document Management: Support the collection and maintenance of aircraft documents, ensuring all documents related to fleet changes are up to date
📋 Safety Reports and Performance: Collect and maintain safety reports, monitor the safety performance of leasing operators
💼 Training Database: Assist in designing and maintaining a training and qualification database, ensuring training records and personal files are properly stored
📂 Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks and provide ad-hoc support to the Safety and Compliance team as needed

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Fluent in English
✔️ Currently enrolled at a Hungarian university with active student status for at least one more year
✔️ Graduating within two years
✔️ Available to work at least 20 hours per week
✔️ Strong MS Office knowledge
✔️ Previous traineeship experience is a plus
✔️ Interest in aviation safety, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
✔️ Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset
✔️ A team player with a "work hard, play hard" approach
✔️ Ambitious, eager to learn and grow, and looking at Wizz Air as a career opportunity
