Wizz Management Trainee - HR Operations

About the HR Operations Department 

The HR Operations Department is the backbone of the employee experience at Wizz Air. It is responsible for managing the employee lifecycle, which includes contracting, HR systems, labour compliance, immigration, payroll, and taxation. This department plays a key role in ensuring that our employees are well-supported throughout their time at Wizz Air, from hiring to retirement. 

  

Your Responsibilities 

  • Understand Functional Domains: Gain an understanding of core HR systems, concerning automation, relocation, contracting and payroll. 

  • Support Operations: Assist with the operative and administrative functions of the department, ensuring smooth processes. 

  • Track Data in HR System: Organize, maintain, and update data within the HR system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. 

  • Collaborate with HR Leads and Local Management: Work closely with HR Leads to ensure processes run efficiently, and engage with Cabin Ops and Flight Ops management to facilitate daily operations across the bases. 

  • Contribute to HR Initiatives: Play an active role in the planning, coordination, and implementation of HR projects and initiatives, supporting continuous improvement across HR processes. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Fluent in English 

  • Currently enrolled at a Hungarian university with active student status until at least January 2028 

  • Graduating within two years 

  • Available to work at least 20 hours per week 

  • Strong MS Office knowledge 

  • Previous traineeship experience is an advantage 

  • Interested in aviation and excited about HR operations 

  • A team player with a "work hard, play hard" mentality 

  • Eagerness to challenge, learn and grow, viewing Wizz Air as a career opportunity
