Wizz Management Trainee - Technical Supply

About the Technical Supply Department 

The Technical Supply department plays a critical role in supporting the operational readiness and reliability of the Wizz Air fleet. The team oversees short- and long-term maintenance planning, manages aircraft transitions, ensures quality assurance within maintenance organizations, and provides real-time technical support to resolve issues and minimize disruptions. With a diverse set of roles ranging from planning and fleet management to hands-on technical oversight, the department ensures that every aircraft is safe, compliant, and ready to fly. 

  

Your Responsibilities 

  • Operational KPI Review: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to support continuous improvement in technical operations. 

  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks across the department to ensure smooth daily operations. 

  • Outstation Maintenance Coordination: Support coordination of maintenance activities at outstations and maintain accurate file tracking. 

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication. 

  • Global Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics activities worldwide on a case-by-case basis to support maintenance and operational needs. 

  • Shipment Tracking: Arrange, trace, and track shipments globally to ensure timely delivery of critical components. 

  • Parts Delivery Coordination: Support the delivery of aircraft parts for shop visits and overhaul events, ensuring alignment with maintenance schedules. 

  

What We’re Looking For 

  • Fluent in English 

  • Currently enrolled at a Hungarian university with active student status for at least one more year 

  • Graduating within two years 

  • Engineering or Data Analytics studies 

  • Experience with predictive IT systems is an advantage 

  • Available to work at least 20 hours per week 

  • Strong MS Office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint) 

  • Previous traineeship experience is a plus 

  • Interest in commercial strategy, pricing, and aviation 

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail 

  • A team player with a "work hard, play hard" approach 

  • Ambitious, eager to learn and grow, and looking at Wizz Air as a career opportunity
