Onboarding Development Junior Manager 

Based in Otopeni 

 

 

Purpose of the role

The Onboarding Development Junior Manager is responsible for leading the Crew Onboarding in Wizz Air and reports to Cabin Operations Crew Resources and Planning Team Manager 

Responsibilities

  •  
  • Act as a liaison between the local and outsourced Onboarding team and Cabin Operations Crew 
  • Resources and Planning Team Manager, 
  • Supervise the local and outsourced Cabin Crew onboarding team, 
  • Responsible for the ownership of onboarding processes from training activation until candidate 
  • employment, 
  • Monitor and support stakeholder needs (for undisturbed onboarding flow), 
  • Manage the cross-departmental collaboration, 
  • Review issues and propose solutions to cross-functional departments, 
  • Make sure that all necessary deadlines are met to ensure on-time employment start date, 
  • Act as a liaison between trainees and relevant Wizz Air management in case of any trainee need 
  • outside onboarding processes, 
  • Organise and hold / distribute within team online administrative meetings with each training group, 
  • Update any informative presentations / documents for standardized processes, 
  • Keep knowledge pool updated for the Onboarding team to be able to give standardized answers to 
  • trainee queries, 
  • Propose solutions of process / system development to automate and digitize processes, 
  • In case of development need in onboarding processes, mark the improvement areas and in 
  • cooperation with the relevant department implement them. 

Experience

1-3+ years overall working experience, with 1+ years of relevant experience

Hard skills

Proficiency in MS Office applications  

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 

Language

Fluent English (both written and spoken) 

Skills and competencies

  • Works effectively both as an individual and as a key team member 
  • Ability to lead and supervise team members, to work under pressure – within time constraints and to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
