Training Analytics and Projects Manager 

Based in Warsaw Chopin 

 

 

Purpose of the role

The Training Analytics & Projects Manager is responsible for ensuring end-to-end alignment between long-term crew recruitment, training demand, and training capacity, supporting business growth with high efficiency, predictability, and cost control. 

The role acts as a central control tower, combining long-term recruitment and training planning, short- and long-term performance analytics, and targeted transformation initiatives to deliver a stable, scalable and cost-efficient training operation. 

Responsibilities

Long-Term Recruitment and Training Planning 

  • Own the integrated long-term crew recruitment and training demand plan (12–36 months) 
  • Translate:  
  • Fleet growth 
  • Attrition 
  • Productivity assumptions into pilot and cabin crew hiring requirements 
  • Align recruitment pipeline with:  
  • Training capacity 
  • Upgrade timelines 
  • Ensure feasibility between hiring plans and training capability 
  • Identify and manage structural gaps and risks impacting growth 

Training Capacity Planning (Long-Term) 

  • Develop and maintain long-term training capacity plans 
  • Define required resources:  
  • Simulators (internal & external) 
  • Instructors 
  • Training infrastructure 
  • Anticipate and mitigate future bottlenecks and scaling constraints 
  • Ensure training capacity evolves in line with network and fleet expansion 

Performance and Analytics (Short- and Long-Term) 

  • Own training performance monitoring across short-term execution and long-term trends 
  • Track and analyze:  
  • Forecast vs actual delivery (weekly/monthly) 
  • Simulator utilization and slot efficiency 
  • Instructor productivity 
  • Training throughput and completion rates 
  • Cost per training activity 
  • Perform root cause analysis on deviations 
  • Drive data-based actions to improve:  
  • Planning accuracy 
  • Resource utilization 
  • Operational reliability 
  • Cost efficiency 

Transformation and Performance Improvement Projects 

  • Lead targeted initiatives to improve:  
  • Training efficiency 
  • Resource utilization (simulators, instructors) 
  • Planning processes and accuracy 
  • Data quality and systems 
  • Define clear scope, success metrics, and timelines 
  • Ensure delivery of measurable and sustainable improvements 

Stakeholder Management 

  • Act as key interface between:  
  • Group Training 
  • Crew Planning 
  • Recruitment 
  • Finance 
  • External training providers (e.g., simulator providers) 
  • Ensure continuous alignment between recruitment plans, training capacity, and operational delivery 
  • Provide clear, structured reporting to support decision-making 

Success measures 

  • Alignment between long-term recruitment and training capacity 
  • Forecast accuracy and delivery reliability 
  • Simulator and instructor utilization 
  • Training cost per crew member 
  • Stability and predictability of training operations 
  • Impact of transformation initiatives 

Experience

  • 3-5+ years in planning, analytics, operations, or performance management 
  • Experience in workforce planning, training planning, or operations planning 
  • Proven track record in project delivery and cross-functional coordination 
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment 

Hard skills

  • Advanced Excel (mandatory)  
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)  
  • Strong understanding of:  
  • Capacity planning 
  • Forecasting methodologies 
  • Performance measurement 
  • Ability to link operational data with financial impact 

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business,Engineering, Aviation, Economics, Mathematics or similar 

Language

Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
