WE ARE HIRING MANAGEMENT TRAINEES
TO THE FOLLOWING DEPARTMENTS:

The Financial Planning and Controlling department acts as the airline's financial compass. They chart the course by creating budgets and forecasts, analyzing performance against those plans, and identifying areas for cost savings. They work closely with other departments to ensure financial resources are allocated effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Prepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and KPI indicators to senior management
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making processes
  • Support internal and external audits as needed
  • Liaise with the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely payments of invoices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of MS Power BI is an advantage
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Attention to details and a high level of accuracy
  • Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics) is a plus
  • Professional certificate (e.g., CFA level 1, CPA) preferred

The mission of Operations Control department (OCC) is to provide control over the flights planned for a period of 3 days prior to their departure until completion, and to coordinate the work of every stakeholder involved in the safe and economical operation of those flights. Also, to decide and disseminate information concerning any decisions and measures taken in the case of irregularity. OCC is the heart of WIZZ operational oversight through exceptional service delivered by a highly motivated, cross functional and future focused team with the single goal of continuous operations performance improvement in a safe and cost focused, sustainable manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Deep dive in OCC related developments by testing, understanding and brainstorming about the ongoing projects
  • Support OCC team in administrational tasks
  • Create regular and ad hoc reports
  • Participate in Facility and Wellbeing related tasks

The Flight Operations department is the heart of Wizz Air AOC’s as responsible for the aviation safety including cabin operations, crew control, planning and responsible for the compliance required by the aviation regulations. It is one of the mandatory connections with the competent aviation authority with close cooperation with the Training Department. Besides the main tasks the management of the pilots is a vital function, where company expectations are achieved.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safety, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Managing the regional organization to secure day-to day operations including on-time performance, project management, pilot number determination and collaboration with Wizz Air’s subsidiaries.
  • Close cooperation with the Training Department ensuring that flight crew training is performed according to the relevant regulations and company operation standards.
  • Assessing the future potential risk through an active review of future demands in line with projected operational growth, and proactively identify suitable resources, technologies, systems, or processes to mitigate risk.
  • Representing Wizz Air in relevant industry bodies.

The CEO Function plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and efficient information flow within the Company. They provide vital administrative and organizational support, not just to the CEO's office, but also to other departments and even the entire company at times.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing presentations and briefing materials
  • Assisting with travel arrangements
  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment
  • Coordination and support for office events
  • Contributing to projects or initiatives that impact the entire company

Wizz Air’s Ground Operations department ensures efficient passenger handling, safe and timely aircraft turnaround, and strict adherence to safety regulations. They are the backbone of smooth airport operations, constantly working to minimize delays, troubleshoot issues, and keep flights on schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Wizz Air’s operational KPIs are being met by the contracted partners at a given airport
  • Report daily to the Ground Operations Manager in charge
  • Supervise all operations on-site (passenger handling, ramp handling, load control, etc.)
  • Oversee performance of certain flights, assisting in reaching the desired quality of handling, follow up and reporting of registered delays
  • Conduct audits and daily checks at the airport
  • Assist the Ground Operations Manager in charge
  • Perform Mystery and Turnaround inspections
  • Perform general administration and reporting duties

The HR Operations department handle all the administrative tasks that keep the airline's workforce running smoothly. This includes everything from contracting and benefits to onboarding new colleagues, making sure everyone has what they need to take to the skies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with processing new hire paperwork, such as contracts and benefits enrollment.
  • Help maintain employee databases and filing systems.
  • Prepare documents and materials for onboarding new employees.
  • Answer basic employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with research and analysis for HR-related projects, such as employee satisfaction surveys.
  • Help prepare reports and presentations on HR data.

The Maintenance Department is responsible for the management of the continuing airworthiness of Wizz Air aircraft by ensuring that the aircraft is maintained in accordance with the applicable regulation, as per approved maintenance program, using the appropriate tools and approved parts, by the certified person.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the airworthiness of Wizz Air aircraft.
  • Improve reliability of Wizz Air aircraft.
  • Oversight of aircraft maintenance organization performing maintenance on Wizz Air aircraft.
  • Taking part in various projects such as reliability improvement, audits.

Cabin Operations is responsible for the largest community in the company, our Cabin Crew. Managers in Cabin Operations are working on processes and procedures and coordinating with their in-house service providers (such as Logistic, Rostering) to ensure high standards of Service and Safety aspects of operations in the cabin.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading short-term projects and developments.
  • Create and follow-up crew engagement related ideas.
  • Work with Local Base Managers network-wide on how to award crew in base and how to keep up motivation on a daily basis.
  • Take charge of administrative tasks, including daily follow-up on operational requirements, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Streamline administrative processes to optimize efficiency and support the organization.

Wizz Air's Safety and Compliance department works tirelessly to keep the airline safe and within regulations. They achieve this by maintaining training records, keeping safety reports up-to-date, and assisting with data analysis. This department also collaborates with other Wizz Air group airlines to ensure consistent safety standards across the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Updating and maintaining safety and compliance reports/dashboards.
  • Supporting in presentation materials preparation.
  • Data gathering, analysis and input for reports.
  • Coordinating compliance systems developments with Group Airlines.

Responsibilities for CAMO:

  • Coordination for audit as per audit plan.
  • Scheduling the travel and hotel arrangements.
  • Follow up with CAR-145 Line stations for pending audit documents/ Finding closure.
  • Preparation of applications for Aircraft Reg.
  • Preparation of applications for Aircraft DeReg.
  • Preparation of applications for Aircraft Export.
  • Preparation of applications for Aircraft ARC.
  • Scanning of Aircraft Reg/ COA/ ARC/Noise Certificate/ Export/ DeReg Files for E-service.
  • Review training file and notify the personnel for due training.
  • Scheduling training with IACT/ organisations as per requirements.
  • Minutes of meeting - Bi-weekly.

Responsibilities for Compliance Operations:

  • Review Audit details prior execution and Post execution.
  • Review of auditor training expiry.
  • Notification to Auditor about expiries and training reg process.
  • Coordination for audit as per audit plan.
  • Scheduling the travel and hotel arrangements.
  • Follow up with stations for pending audit documents/ Finding closure.
  • Scheduling training with IACT.
  • Minutes of meeting - Bi-weekly.

The Network Development Analyst will report to the Senior Manager Network Development. The role’s primary responsibility will be to manage the route network recommendations for the airline, including managing capacity on existing markets and driving expansion of the network with new routes, new bases, strategic planning and reacting to the competitive environment changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Revenue Management team and Airport Development team to determine amendments to existing routes, frequencies and airports.
  • Maximize profitability by optimizing capacity and weekly frequencies, ensuring the right product is offered to the market.
  • Building and maintaining financial evaluation tools as required.
  • Managing capacity on a portfolio of routes comprising several countries and bases.
  • Deliver monthly capacity plan updates to management.

Assessing new markets based on strategic fit, financial performance and growth potential

  • Recommending new routes and bases to add to the network.
  • Developing financial forecasts for potential new routes and bases.
  • Assessing competition in terms of strategic plans, capacity changes, strengths / weaknesses and recommending actions based on the risks and opportunities.
  • Assessing and interpreting market, economic and industry trends and the impact on route choice.
  • Managing the airport mix to ensure it does not exceed budgeted costs.
  • Coordinating with the regulatory affairs team in securing seasonal route permits and new route designations.
  • Building relationships with third parties (regions, tourism bodies, Civil Aviation Authorities etc.).

Requirements:

  • Completed university or college degree in a technical subject is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Proficiency in Excel and ability to synthesize large amounts of data.
  • Business mindset and ability to synthesize information into recommendations.
