Analytics and Pricing Manager 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

 

The Analytics and Pricing Manager will be responsible for the pricing of non-ticket (ancillary) revenues, forecasting and analyzing, as well as defining actions to address the findings. Together with the ownership of particular streams, she/he will be accountable for delivering incremental value in ancillary revenues, a very significant and growing source of income for Wizz Air. The Analytics and Pricing Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Ancillary Revenue within the Commercial organization.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop pricing structure and strategy for non-ticket revenue streams.
  • Support and/or lead advanced data science integration in non-ticket product pricing.
  • Daily monitoring of the pricing of non-ticket revenue streams and ensuring performance is in line or exceeds the budget.
  • Owing to the fee portfolio and implementing changes in line with the competitive landscape and customer demand.
  • Daily monitoring the non-ticket revenue performance by the stream and creating monthly revenue forecast.
  • Analyzing business and customer trends, conducting sensitivity scenario analysis, preparing business cases for new streams and profitability analysis for existing streams.
  • Building presentations and recommendations for senior management.
  • Monthly benchmarking of competitor ancillary service offers and fee levels.
  • Managing the implementation of internal projects for the improvement of existing streams. Improvements cover enhancements in sales conversion and increase in unit revenue.
  • Identifying new industry trends and technological innovations with the aim of potentially integrating them into the business.
  • In cooperation with the team, identifying new non-ticket revenue opportunities.
  • Working with other functions to constantly improve sales conversion rates and drive unit revenue improvement.
  • Working together with the Data Science and IT teams for improving processes and reporting systems with the aim of maximizing ancillary revenue and customer convenience.
  • Participating and representing the Ancillary Revenue team in cross-functional projects, as delegated.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Dedication, positivity, integrity and inclusivity
  • College or university degree
  • 3-5 years experience in a multinational environment, experience in aviation is a plus
  • Very strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced level of EXCEL, PowerPoint, Power BI
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate to the upper level of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to cooperate with a variety of stakeholders, team player personality
  • Strong sense of business ownership and accountability for own portfolio
  • Drive to learn and improve professionally
  • Good project management skills
  • Fluent English (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to live and work in Budapest, Hungary
