Financial Controller
Based in BUD - Office
Purpose of the position:
The Financial Controller will report directly to the Division Controller in the Financial Planning and Control department and play a very important role in driving the goals and profitability of the company. The job holder will support the Division Controller and partner with various levels of management in the Function supported and is expected to act as their business partner and advisor in all financial matters. The job holder will work closely with the Division Controller and business to build the annual budget, update the monthly forecast, assist with and oversee the monthly accounting close process and develop Key Performance Indicators, to monitor and manage the business. The job holder is also expected to support change and constantly look for ways to improve and digitize processes and improve the efficiency of the organization. The job holder will see this role as a unique opportunity to learn and grow within the larger Finance organisation and will need to have the potential to make several steps after this initial role.

Responsibilities:
- Work with the Division Controller and Heads of Functions within the Division to improve the speed, accuracy, and reporting of the annual budget and monthly forecast process;
- Support the existing and implement new processes of invoice management, month-end closing, forecasting, budgeting and ad-hoc analyses
- Complete certain accruals and review account level details during the monthly accounting close process
- Track, and drive cost savings initiatives
- Conduct ad hoc analysis, projects and reports to support the Division Controller, and operating groups
- Checking consistency of the data and tracking the actions to improve data quality
- Liaise with several business stakeholders to ensure data input timeliness and quality
- Continuous improvement focus: coming up with improvement ideas both on the process and on the technical (system) side (no special IT skills required)
- Optimizing the potential use of the systems to streamline processes, reduce transactional work for the team and gain better control of the costs
Requirements:
- Completed university degree, preferably in economics, finance, accounting
- At least 2 years of experience in a finance or consulting role
- Good skills in MS Excel and MS Office tools required
- Upper intermediate written and spoken English (working environment mainly in English)
- Good communication skills: clear and transparent communication
- Hard working attitude, team spirit, flexibility
- Analytical thinking: independent problem-solving, logical thinking, ability and interest to analyse how a system works on a deeper level
- Willingness to dive into the details. adaptability to new processes, new requirements
- Able to step forward and communicate the message; outgoing
- Consistent presence in the office
