Capacity Planning and Resource Manager
Based in BUD - Office
Purpose of the position:
Capacity Planning and Resource Manager (CPRM) will support the management of the growth and development of the Operations Control Center, including forward forecasting of resources, recruitment, onboarding and training management. CPRM will have a key role to identify opportunities in regards of OCC staff rostering optimization, considering multi-AOC setup and seasonal challenges.
It is a core duty of this position to effectively contribute to OCC training management by delivering training syllabi, schedules, identifying changes in regulations and give recommendations for continuous improvement.
CPRM is based in Wizz Air HQ (Budapest, Hungary) and – unless otherwise defined by the line manager – working full time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:
- Support the development of OCC resource planning and forward forecasting in light of the Company’s growth
- Ensure that the hiring process is timely, efficient and the OCC is appropriately staffed, ahead of the growth curve, with high quality resources
- Preparation of monthly OCC rosters by considering seasonal changes in the flying programme and complexity (multi-AOC setup)
- Lead, standardize and manage the onboarding of new OCC personnel, including the WAPA Cadets into Crew Control program
- Lead and manage the OCC training programmes, including development of syllabi together with the Team Managers
- Maintain continuous communication and close cooperation with cross-functional departments as relevant to the scope of activities
- Maintain the OCC personnel training records to ensure regulatory compliance
- Contribute to the seasonal flying programme (schedule) optimization
- Perform continuous trend monitoring and hazard identification via incoming reports and feedbacks and incorporate the “lessons learnt” in OCC trainings
- Timely management of incoming requests and channel them to the relevant team member if relevant
- Reporting and projects
- Manage timely reporting of training expiries as required, including record keeping requirements
- Manage OCC projects as assigned
- Prepares and proposes recommendations on resource development through OCC management meetings

- Ensure that all OCC training materials and competence assessment tests are up-to-date at all times
Requirements:
- Knowledge: higher education preferred; aviation regulations; operations control, training management
- Qualities and skills: fluent English; advanced computer skills; attention to details; self-motivation;
- Experience: 3 years of operations experience in an airline environment
