Compensation Manager

 

Purpose of the position:

Compensation Manager is the lead compensation expert focusing in the crew compensation group wide in the People department. It plays important role in monitoring and developing the existing compensation structure for the crew, drive the selection of the vendor delivering benchmark data for the crew compensation analysis, supporting HR and leadership decisions and coordinating crew compensation related projects. Works very closely with HQ compensation manager and acts as a substitution. Responsible for crew Gross to net data accuracy and availability

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Serves as the crew compensation expert to HR, leadership team and to external service providers (payroll, immigration services, tax consultants etc.).
  • Reviews crew compensation trends on group level, coordinates the annual salary benchmark analysis to evaluate external competitiveness and internal satisfaction and efficiency of the reward programs for Cabin Crew, Flight Crew. Be the deputy for the office compensation decision
  • Ensures that the crew compensation schemes comply with legal and regulatory requirements and are aligned with the company policies and objectives.
  • Ensures that the payroll GTN data is accurately available for the crew population. Support the set up  of the automated system for compensation analytics to enable decision making
  • Coordinates the annual salary planning process for the crew, salary structure reviews/updates
  • Supports the Finance department in the budgeting process with preparing the crew salary budgets and associated cost modeling.
  • Provides compensation expertise to HR Operations team and the operations line management with respect to structuring job offers.
  • Set up the process and control for the PIT, SSC questions based on information received from the service providers; advise on compensation changes based on identified regulation changes resulting to incompliances; recommends solution to close those;  work with tax advisors to solve complex Tax/SSC related questions across the Wizz network.
  • Leads and coordinates crew compensations related projects. 
  • Drive the selection of the vendor delivering benchmark data for the crew compensation
  • Create crew benefit proposal based on the benefit benchmark
  • Develops pay structures and ranges for opening bases in new countries.
  • Supervises the updates of compensation related processes, guidelines and policies.
  • Responds to ad hoc compensation related questions and inquiries.
  • Manages internal and statutory reporting
  • Managing the junior crew compensation manager

 

Requirements:

 

  • College or University degree
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in HR/Compensation/Reward or Financial Controlling position in a multinational environment
  • Capability to understand complex issues and procedures
