Customer Insights and Research Manager 

Based in BUD - Office 



Purpose of the role:


The Customer Insights and Research Manager is responsible for understanding customer trends and providing actionable recommendations to improve products and services. This role also advises on strategic decision-making and shares insights with the wider team to create a customer-centric culture and monitor brand health. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer behaviour analysis, strong communication skills, and experience in driving business decisions with customer data.

Key responsibilities:


  • Identifies customer insights & trends to provide strategic input to short and long-term marketing, communication, customer experience, product development or commercial plans.
  • Select and recommends the most appropriate and cost-efficient external sources of data and research methodology and techniques needed to uncover customer insights & trends.
  • Leads both quantitative and qualitative research projects (such as Brand Health and Customer Satisfaction Surveys).
  • Manages all external research efforts within the Customer & Marketing organisation and other departments (e.g. product, UX, CX) in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates with Digital BI teams to ensure relevant research data is integrated into digital dashboards providing easy and flawless access to data at any time.
  • Takes a consultative approach with business partners; helps to articulate and prioritize information needs and translate business needs into ‘researchable’ objectives.
  • Leverages digital tools and systems to ensure the efficiency of research work and ensures its scalability to the rapid growth of the business.
  • Tracks and analyses key customer segment trends in the core markets.
  • Manages research budget efficiently and accurately.




  • Completed university or college degree
  • Minimum 5 years of professional working experience in a customer-focused, multi-country company
  • Strong understanding and experience in the research field on how to uncover customer insights and trends
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work well under pressure ensuring tasks are prioritized and goals are met
  • Has stamina, good presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical skills, confident with working with large data sets and driving actionable learnings and conclusions from those
  • Result-oriented, persistent, dependable and consistent
  • Proactive, willing to take initiative and shoulder responsibility
