E-Commerce Product Manager 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

 

As an E-Commerce Product Manager at Wizz Air, you will drive the strategy and execution of our digital platforms (website, mobile app, and other channels), serving 60+ million passengers annually. Your focus will be maximizing revenue and enhancing user experience across nearly 800 million yearly visits. You will define goals, prioritize impactful features, and lead data-driven experimentation to deliver measurable business outcomes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and partners, you will align product outcomes with business objectives and shape future digital travel experiences. Beyond the customer-facing part of your role, you will also deal with building strong collaborations with our 3rd party suppliers and partners to create a wide range of product portfolio for our customers.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for one or more product team(s) including both the short and long term roadmap.
  • Develop product vision, goals, KPIs, product roadmap and rollout plans, aligned with company strategy and goals.
  • Prioritize features and initiatives based on their contribution to business goals, customer impact, and feasibility.
  • Organize and lead ideation sessions and workshops to drive innovative ideas for improving revenue metrics and user experience. 
  • Use data & customer research-led approaches to identify user needs.
  • Build business cases to quantify impact and obtain buy-in for new opportunities
  • Define measurable business goals, product KPIs and success metrics for assigned products
  • Monitor product performance and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive data to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
  • Write, review and take responsibility for clear, concise and comprehensive documentation.
  • Apply a structured experimentation process, conducting A/B tests and rapid iterations to identify and implement features that drive product growth and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI team, Engineering Managers, Marketing and Data other teams to achieve the product growth goals, enhance customer experience and identify new areas for growth.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and support for the product’s success.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively the product goals, results and plans with wider stakeholder groups, including C-suite leaders
  • Oversee SEO and performance metrics for assigned products, ensuring technical and content strategies align with best practices.
  • Collaborate with Digital Analysts and IT teams to monitor performance and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Responsible for data analysis, experimentation, and reporting on their product to drive changes and improvements to the user experience.
  • Drive the growth of the overall conversion, customer lifetime value and improve individual product revenue metrics.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management working at high volume ecommerce based companies.
  • Broad e-commerce experience with at least one specialty (customer acquisition, website and app management, CRM, SEM, web/app analytics, customer engagement.)
  • A proven history of leading cross-functional teams to both achieve implementation of new features as well as resolving operational issues
  • A proven experience in managing stakeholders and communications across all levels of organization, including C-suite leadership.
  • Proven experience in Agile development
  • Experience in Google Analytics, Power BI and A/B testing is a significant plus.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluent in English (C1 and above)
  • Strong proficiency in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively, and must have a clear sense of ownership.
  • Ability to thrive and work in a fast-paced, results driven environment with multiple responsibilities, whilst also taking the time for personal growth.
  • Ability to creatively solve challenging business and technology issues and strong technical understanding.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and able to run multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Experience in interacting with technical individual contributors and in Agile development
  • Experience in working on ancillary products within travel industry is a significant plus.
