HR Generalist 

Based in BUD - Office 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

 

The HR Generalist is responsible for the quality and efficient HR operations and services for HQ in Budapest and Malta, implements group policies, programs, and controls outsourced HR services. The position holder ensures that the office HR processes are compliant with the labor, tax and social security legislation and responsible for the efficient functioning of the Headquarter related matters. The HR Generalist reports to the HR Manager HQ.

General responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the entire employee lifecycle processes and documentation for office new joiners and employees (e.g.: onboarding, induction, immigration, contracting process, exiting procedure, lay-offs and termination)
  • Responsible for the management and maintenance of office related employee documentation and data accuracy in the systems (e.g.: myHR, personal files, work permit, visa, immigration related documentation)
  • Manages overall payroll cycle for office employees including giving payroll inputs, controlling the payroll calculations, preparation the salary transfers, answering employee queries regarding salary questions
  • Responsible for efficient communication in HR related matters (changes, joiners, leavers, promotions) for office employees in BUD, Malta
  • Provides support in the labor compliance and labor court cases as well as labor audits throughout the Headquarter
  • Provides support to employees in hiring, disciplinary terminations, payroll, labor administration, personal taxation and social security matters
  • Ensures a secondary point of contact for HR service providers, instructs and controls outsourced HR services
  • Participates actively in other HR projects
  • Responsible tracking, realizing and reporting of KPIs (e.g. VMS, Conflict of interest, office presence, sickness rate etc)
  • Responsible for preparing regular and ad hoc HR reports

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • College or University degree
  • Min. 2-3 year’ experience, preferably at HR
  • Experience in project management
  • Analytical thinking, good problem solving and well-organized way of working
  • Attention to details
  • A continuous improvement mindset
  • Advanced computer skills, including Office applications, combined with tech and digitalization affinity
  • Experience with SAP/Payroll systems is an advantage
  • Experience with legal and tax authorities is an advantage
  • Excellent English, additional European language will be a plus
  • Good communication skills
