Junior Compensation Manager 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

 

The Junior Compensation Manager will support the C&B Managers in creating compensation related reports, budgeting forecasts and tools to ensure proper monitoring and development of the existing compensation structure. The role will be involved in analyzing salary benchmark data and supporting all compensation related projects.

 

 

 

Duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Supports the C&B Managers with the annual salary planning process, salary structure reviews/updates, internal equity reviews.
  • Prepares complex compensation calculations, works under the supervision of the Compensation Manager(s) in the creation of the salary structures and compensation policies.
  • Contributes with monthly payroll report consolidation, cooperates actively with HR Operations on the subject. Ensures monthly update of all relevant payroll based C&B files and reports.
  • Facilitates automatization projects, acts as an ambassador of digitalisation of C&B processes.
  • Supports the budgeting process with preparing merit/pay budgets and associated cost modeling.
  • Supports with planning and forecasting of HC, payroll, makes sure that HR expenses are in place and reported on a regular basis
  • Updates compensation related guidelines and policies
  • Collaborates in the Private Travel Policy and Private Travel System related changes.
  • Prepares salary proposals for hybrid office and crew positions for the approval of the Compensation Managers.
  • Responds to ad hoc compensation related questions and inquiries.
  • Support administrative tasks related to the Short Term Incentive and Long Term Incentive planning.
  • Supports the development of pay structures and ranges for opening bases in new network countries.
  • Monitors existing rewards programs and metrics to ensure conformance to corporate strategies, policies and ensure their cost-effectiveness.
  • Supports internal and statutory reporting (to Accounting, to the National Statistical Office, local tax and SSC authorities etc.)

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bacheclor or Master’s degree
  • Excellent English
  • Preferably 1-3+ years’ experience in Controlling/Finance or Compensation/Reward/HR Operations position, including international projects.
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Capability to understand complex issues and procedures.
  • Proactive approach with a strong ability to drive projects and initiatives.
  • Efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
