Purpose of the position

The Recruitment Team Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment practice, policy and procedures to support the development of high performing teams in all of the Wizz Air offices.

  • Responsible for end to end office recruitment process from entry to executive level positions across Wizz Air Group
  • Supervise the recruitment team and its performance
  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures and recruitment models
  • Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting and Boolean searches)
  • Research and choose job advertising options
  • Prepare salary proposals & job offers
  • Establish recruitment metrics reporting and continuously drive improvement of KPIs by closely collaborating with senior management
  • Coordinate with department managers/senior management to forecast future hiring needs
  • Keep up to date and continuously improve the career website based on the established employer branding strategy and process
  • Advise & train hiring managers on interviewing techniques
  • Participate in job fairs and career events
  • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, universities and other partners



  • College or University degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position 
  • Capability to understand complex issues and procedures
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Precise & punctual working manner
  • Proactive approach and positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills
  • Fluent English
