Senior Pricing Manager



Purpose of the position:


The Senior Pricing Manager role within the company’s strategy is to deliver the revenue management path to WIZZ 500 through the optimization of ticket incomes for the entire WIZZ Group, having direct impact on a portfolio of over 3 billion yearly revenue. She/He will be responsible for leading and developing the pricing team, delivering the budgeted revenue target and driving further innovation in the pricing area.





Revenue Management:


  • Establish, own, be accountable and drive revenue market/route targets. BE proactive on implementing actions to match company objectives and customer demand.
  • Daily monitoring of sales trends. Support the forecasting profess within the commercial area.
  • Competitor fare and capacity monitoring
  • Identifying drivers of performance and proposing actions to address revenue shortfalls or conversely capture revenue opportunities
  • Reviewing pricing for individuals, groups and allotments
  • Promotion and special event management
  • Reporting on frequent basis performance to leadership, create analysis and derive conclusions




  • Driving projects that will further automate the Revenue Management System both with internal and external resources
  • Driving breakthrough initiatives on Revenue Management field to improve revenue generation
  • Identify areas of improvement within the analytical management information systems/process that supports the understanding of market demand/trends
  • Cross-functional alignment of digital resources to deliver objectives


Lead the pricing team


  • Lead, inspire, develop, coach and mentor the team of pricing managers
  • Energize and enable manager’s performance
  • Build manager’s technical and personal skills




  • University degree in an analytical field such as engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, etc.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue management area and minimum 2 years of direct people leadership experience, preferably in aviation industry
  • High resilience, agility and adaptability to change
  • Strong analytical experience and proven track record on results delivery
  • Advanced EXCEL skills (VBA/database experience is a plus)
  • Gool oriented mindset
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Enthusiastic, hard working, positive and dedicated
  • Team player
  • Fluent spoken/written English
  • Ability to live and work in Budapest, Hungary
