Junior Cards and Collection Manager 

Based in Budapest 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

 

The Treasury Administration Specialist reports to the Senior Treasury Risk Manager, and is overall responsible for ensuring timely cash collection, administration and management related tasks.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Ensuring timely and accurate control of incoming funds transfers from the card payments area.
  • Enable visibility of missing funds, and proactively follows up with respective counterparties about findings and discrepancies
  • Provides relevant information regularly to other affected departments, and ensures timely information during the monthly closing processes
  • Analyse key weaknesses in the process, actively manages resolution design and execution
  • Provides control over the chargeback process, and provides regular feedback to managers
  • Support the managers in contractual discussions and contract reviews
  • Improve internal reporting, system-to-system feedback and oversight for card acquiring management and follow up important issues
  • Supper the implementation and maintenance of improvements for the chargeback and payment reconciliation area

 

Requirements:

 

  • University/college degree in finance, accounting area
  • At least 1-3 years of work experience in a multinational corporate environment
  • Strong experience in administration, payments, and systematic thinking
  • Experience and knowledge on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good knowledge on payment systems is preferable but not essential
  • Dynamic personality with proactive, positive attitude
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Highly numerate, analytical and attention to detail is crucial
  • Ability to work under pressure and cope with conflicting demands
  • Flexibility and team working skills
