WIZZ Management Trainee Program - Security and Central Services 

Based in BUD - Office 

 

 

We would like to give an opportunity for young talents in their last 1-2 years of University studies, passionate about the aviation, to fly into the world of Wizz Air. You will discover and experience full scope of activities of one selected Function within Wizz Air's Headquarter in Budapest. While rotating between the Functional Departments over a period of 1-2 years, you will be learning live from real industry experts, working on transformative, complex projects and can land yourself a full-time employment with Wizz Air afterwards.

 

SECURITY AND CENTRAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT

 

The Management Trainee, reporting to the Central Office Manager, Group Operations , plays a pivotal role in providing support to the Security and Central Services department. This position encompasses a range of responsibilities focused on ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the department. The Management Trainee will be involved in various tasks, including presentation material preparation and data gathering for reports. This role is designed to provide valuable learning opportunities and growth within the organization. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Presentation Material Preparation: 
  • Collaborate with department managers to prepare presentation materials. 
  • Format documents, slides, and visual aids for internal and external presentations. 
  • Ensure that presentation materials adhere to organizational standards. 
  • Data Gathering and Input: 
  • Gather data from various sources for use in reports and presentations. 
  • Input data accurately into relevant systems and databases. 
  • Perform data quality checks and resolve discrepancies when necessary. 
  • Collaboration: 
  • Work closely with department managers and other team members to meet project and reporting deadlines. 
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with colleagues to ensure a seamless workflow. 
  • Learning and Development: 
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge. 
  • Seek opportunities for professional growth within the organization. 
  • Documentation and Records Management: 
  • Organize and maintain departmental documents and records. 
  • Implement and manage a filing system to ensure easy retrieval of information. 
  • Event Planning: 
  • Assist in planning and executing departmental events or workshops. 
  • Coordinate logistics, invitations, and materials. 
  • Training and Onboarding: 
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new team members. 
  • Provide training or guidance on departmental tools and procedures. 
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: 
  • Handle ad hoc tasks and assignments as directed by the Group Ops Alignment Manager or Department Head. 

 

Requirements:

  • English fluency
  • Graduating within 2 years from university
  • Active student status at a Hungarian university for at least 1 more year
  • Ability to work at least 20 hours/week
  • Strong MS Office knowledge
  • Previous traineeship experience is an advantage
  • Cross-functional interest
