Training Planner Wizz Air Malta



Purpose of the role:


Planning all training duties for crew members in cooperation with stakeholders.To ensure training efficiency and driving system and process improvements.

Key responsibilities:


  • Plan all training duties for internal and external trainers as part of the monthly roster planning 
  • Reserve the necessary trainer and devices resources 
  • Cooperate with external partners to ensure balanced coverage of external trainers and training devices 
  • Plan all training duties for flight deck crew members as described in Operations Manuals as part of the monthly roster planning 
  • Ensuring high efficiency of built training 
  • Tracking, monitoring training competition 
  • Create all necessary reports 
  • Taking part of process and system improvement 
  • Continuous cooperation with the Training Department representatives & Crew Training Planning in terms of training requirements 
  • Cross functional project management. Cooperation with various stakeholders across the organization (Cabin and Flights Operation, Training, Human Resources) 
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations (duty and flight time limitations, Fatigue Risk Management) 





  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Growth mindset and can-do attitude 
  • Ability to synthesize information into recommendations 
  • Good oral and written presentations skills 
  • Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills 
  • Fluent spoken / written English 
  • Ability to live and work in Malta
  • Flexibility to travel as required away from Head Office 
  • Completed university or college degree is a must 
  • Knowledge of AIMS Crew and Ops system and knowledge of Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements are advantages
